pH instruments have to be cleaned and calibrated frequently, but at least monthly to provide you with the most accurate reading. In general, pH measuring equipment is calibrated to pH 7.0 first (buffer) and then decreased to pH 4.0 (slope) respectively. This product has a pH-value of 7.0.
